About Path2Potential
We believe every child holds extraordinary potential — and with the right support, they can find their way to it.
Our Story
Path2Potential was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that children flourish when they feel safe, seen, and supported. Our practice provides families with access to high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic and educational support and services in a warm and welcoming environment.
We work with children from early childhood through to adolescence, and their families, providing support that is always tailored, always respectful, and always guided by the child's individual needs and strengths.

Marianne Doble
Play Therapist | Educational Therapist | Counsellor | Educator
"My passion is to empower young people to embrace who they are — to thrive and reach their potential in life."
Marianne brings over 28 years of experience in education, counselling, and therapeutic practice to her work at Path2Potential — and with it, a rare combination of skills that few practitioners are able to offer.
Her career began in the classroom, where she developed a deep and enduring passion for education as a Classroom Teacher and Music Specialist, working across diverse year levels in both national and international school settings. Over time, her professional journey expanded into learning support, counselling, and therapeutic practice — each chapter building on the last to form a well-rounded foundation for the work she does today.
Marianne has worked across a broad range of roles throughout her career, including Play Therapist, Educational Therapist, Counsellor, Classroom Teacher, Music Teacher, Learning Support and Head of Learning. It is the integration of these disciplines that makes her support so distinctive and effective.
She understands, from both professional expertise and lived experience in schools and clinical settings, that many young people need more than one kind of support in order to truly flourish. At Path2Potential, those supports work together, seamlessly, under one roof.
A Relationship-First Approach
At the heart of Marianne's practice is a genuine commitment to connection. She believes that meaningful, lasting change begins with a therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard — and she brings this philosophy to every client she works with, regardless of age, background, or presenting concern.
Marianne's enthusiasm lies in establishing authentic connections with the young people and families in her care, and in fostering within them confidence and self-belief. Her deepest passion is to empower children and adolescents to embrace their unique identities — to thrive in every dimension of their lives.
She is a committed advocate for strengths-based practice. Rather than focusing solely on what is difficult, Marianne works alongside her clients to identify, celebrate, and build upon their individual strengths and talents — helping them to see themselves as capable, worthy, and full of potential.
A Commitment to Lifelong Learning
Marianne is a committed lifelong learner. She undertakes regular professional development across her fields of practice to ensure that every client receives support that is current, evidence-based, and reflective of the most effective approaches available.
